Six years ago my husband and I ran off to Pigeon Forge Tennessee to get married. So for our sixth anniversary we decided to take our kids and enjoy a weekend away!

So where do you stay when you want to relax, but also make sure your kids have a wonderful time?

I wouldn’t suggest anything other than the Margaritaville Island Hotel

It’s the only hotel directly on The Island – walking distance to food, attractions, and shops!

We stayed in the Double Queen Village Balcony Room.

Rooms at the Margaritaville Island Hotel come with a fireplace, private balcony, a beautiful walk in shower with dual rain heads, and a wet bar that includes a frozen concoction maker!

The room we stayed in was just stunning!

Here’s the views off our balcony that overlooks the shops.

The lobby is just as beautiful! Everyone we encountered that worked at the Margaritaville Island Hotel was so delightful! On one side of the lobby you have a bar, where I got an enjoyable margarita!

I was able to enjoy my margarita in our room, because kids and a bar don’t go together well!

And on the other side you have the most adorable coffee shop! They also have the cutest Margaritaville Island Hotel coffee mugs – perfect for any collection.

The boys patiently waiting for me to get my Gingerbread Latte and head to the Sky Wheel!

The Margaritaville Island Hotel also has a rooftop pool and bar, I can’t wait to visit again and be able to enjoy the pool!

Unfortunately our weekend came to an end and we had to check out.. shortly after I received a survey about our visit. One of the questions asked if anything could be improved or done differently. Honestly, I wouldn’t have changed a thing! This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! I had that moment where you walk into the lobby to get checked in and a sigh of relief came that said “ah, vacation!”.

Thank you so much Margaritaville Island Hotel !! We can’t wait for our next visit!
