Start by gathering all of your ingredients. I highly suggest using a Slow Cooker Liner this is going to make clean up so much easier. Nobody likes cleaning a dirty slow cooker.

Your first step is to brown your meat and add to your slow cooker, then sprinkle your seasoning on top.
Don’t forget your liner! Trust me.

Next add your chili beans in chili sauce, no need to drain! – I like a lot of beans, you don’t have to add a lot if you prefer less!

Next I add my kidney beans, these I drain first! – Then add my diced tomatoes!

I add about a cup of water, just so it covers the top, STIR, and then set my slow cooker on low for about 4 hours. Your house will be filled with a delicious aroma soon!

We like to eat chili and rice for good cheap meal. Jasmine rice is delicious and has an indefinite shelf life! You can also get a pretty big bag at Walmart for fairly cheap.

Finished! — you can keep it in your slow cooker for a bit, I turn mine down to stay warm and then put in storage containers to keep in the fridge and heat up.
OH this is a new way to have chili! I’ve never made Chili in a crockpot before!
