I fell in love with oils a few months ago and it’s slowly over taking my life! I’ve completely switched our family to a non-toxic laundry detergent using essential oils!

One of the first things I switched in my house was my laundry detergent. So this post is to show how I get more out of Young Living’s Essential Oil Infused Laundry Detergent!

I honestly just love the scent of essential oils. The scent lasts longer than air fresheners and fragrances you can buy, not to mention the oils do not have all the toxins!

All your needed supplies

Here’s what you need:

  • A jug with a spigot dispenser
  • Theives Laundry Soap
  • Theives Household Cleaner
  • Water
  • Essential Oils (optional)
  • Stick to stir!
  • Measuring cup

So I had a bit of detergent left over from making a batch a few months ago, but it was getting low so I decided to go ahead and add to it.

Theives Laundry Soap 32 oz.

I’m going to use the full bottle of Theives Laundry Soap (32 fl. oz.) and pour it into my glass jug.

Measuring cup

Next I add 60oz. of water.

Theives household cleaner

Next we’re going to add 6 capfuls of Theives household cleaner.

Optional, essential oils

Optional! I add 10 drops each of Lemon and Purification. Purification is great for getting rid of smells!

Stir!

Gently stir!

Save the cap off of the Theives Laundry Soap!

I keep the cap off of the Theives Laundry Soap and use one capful for my laundry, half if it’s a small load. But if I’m being honest, my washer is usually overloaded!

Completed Non-Toxic Laundry Detergent

This jug will easily last me 4-5 months. That’s washing at least one load every single day!

I also wanted to include a few options for glass dispensers with spigots.

Walmart: Glass Beverage Dispenser

Amazon: Style Setter Dispenser

Target: Style Setter Dispenser with Stand
